Icon24 Flames vs. Blackhawks, 7 pm, SNW

Long night...very fussy baby...less than 3 hours sleep...zzzzzzzzz

Short and sweet today everyone.

Flames are playing better. 60 minute effort last game. This is their only game over 7 days. Need consistency from entire group. Need more from Hudler and Giordano...blah blah blah.

'Hawks circus trip. 6 games over 2 weeks. Fatigue of trip overblown: traveling through Western Canada for 3 games in 4 nights...long break, then through the California teams for 3 games in 4 nights. Travel isn't that much of a factor.

Flames
Gaudreau-Monahan-Hudler
Bennett-Backlund-Frolik
Colborne-Stajan-Jones
Ferland-Jooris-Bollig

Giordano-Brodie
Russell-Hamilton
Engelland-Wideman

Ramo

Blackhawks
Dano-Toews-Hossa
Panarin-Anisimov-Kane
Desjardins-Kruger-Shaw
Mashinter-Kero-Garbutt

Keith-Hjalmarsson
Van Riemsdyk-Seabrook
Daley-Rozsival

Darling

Go Flames gooooo.......zzzzzzzzzzz

If we can win tonight I believe that we will break the curse next week in Anaheim. I hope we see another 60 minute effort and that Gio starts making quick decisions. If they do that we have a good chance of getting two points.

Gio really needs to simplify his game and focus more on making simple, smart plays. He's been guilty of trying to do too much, which has led to many glaring errors.

The Flames are in a bad position right now. For anyone to start taking them seriously, they have to be able to beat a team like the hawks. I'm thinking a loss tonight would really be a downer on the team's moral, the fans and management. If they can't win tonight, I think we'll see some kind of move made over the weekend. If they win, it'll be the same situation next game...

You know if you adjusted those slightly it could go with Escape - Rupert Holmes.

If we can win this thats 3 out of the last 4 against hot teams.

It seems like this game could really be a turning point should they win.

No Flames games till Tuesday after this one.

A win tonight puts us 4 points out of a playoff spot while still being 4 games under .500

Sorry, but this is getting old.
Ovi didn't score his record goal on us, former Flames on NJ didn't score. Crosby didn't score and was -4.

Flames win 3-1 and Wideman gets two goals.

Flames give up one goal, then they give up two goals, then three... Until they give up every number of goals up to infinity.

Flames Win!
Final Score:
Flames 0
Blackhawks -1/12

So what you are saying is let the Blackhawks keep scoring goals until the scoreboard wraps around back to 0 and the Flames win 1-0 in OT.
