Love Hughson and his co-commentator letting Miller off for the soft goal. It was awful, even if he did see it late. It was down the middle, Miller got over in time and it went under his trailing arm. Poor goaltending.

It looks like Shrinkydink's first NHL recall didn't last long. They sent him down today and called up Alex Grenier, who is making his NHL debut tonight (the sixth Canuck to do so this season).

3-1 Jets and that should do it. Feels good beating these guys still even without all the divers there 100%.

For whatever reason, the Blackhawks have a history of struggles against the Oilers. Weren't they on the other end of Gagner's 8-point game a couple years back?

Yes, but they've won 8 of their last 9 against Edmonton

It wasn't a line change so much as it was an evacuation of the ice surface

And the D on the far side stayed by the boards. It was essentially a 2 on 0

The Capitals won 2-1 in overtime. It only took 45 seconds for Kuznetsov to score the winning goal, Niskanen with two assists. It was not the most exciting game to watch for a "rivalry game." The goals came in the first period and that was it. The third period was dull, only 14 shots in total.

Pouliot ties the game four minutes into the third period, 2-2.
