I need some work done on my car, basically the door is somewhat busted and it wont actually latch shut (drivers side).

Of course I can't drive like this, and the people at the acura dealer told me to head to a body shop since they can't do anything about it (some cracking on the inner metal door frame as well, which is part of the problem).

Question is, anyone do this kind of work and how much is it going to cost me?

A-1 Autobody, google them and get a quote, they are pricy but you get what you pay for, they specialize in Honda-Acura bodywork but they basically do everything well.

I took my car to A-1 after i was rear ended two years ago and my trunk has not closed the same since. I even took it back there once and they didn't do a thing for me.

If I ever need work done again it won't be at A-1.

I had a good experience with A-1. Got a free courtesy car to use while my car was being worked on and they cleaned the whole thing, inside and out when they were finished (even though they were just working on the rear bumper).

If you have an Anally-Retentive streak about your car (like me :P ), I can also recommend Wrinkles. Don't know how they do with the (Japanese) imports though.
