Trade Voracek, and he scores a hat trick in his final game in a Caps uniform.
Go figure. And I totally called it in his trade announcement thread.
Edit...he actually scored all 4 goals for us. Hilarious.
Glad to see Carter add 2 more goals last night, and hopefully he carries it forward in Washington.

Also....looked like a bloodbath in Minny:

Quote:
Karri Ramo enters game at 14:30 of 2nd period
Danny DeKeyser is injured at 18:33 of 2nd period (Back)
Bill Arnold beats up Vladimir Tarasenko at 19:17 of 2nd period
Jake McCabe beats up Morgan Rielly at 1:40 of 3rd period
Scott Glennie beats up Scott Hartnell at 15:27 of 3rd period

As always the SIM confuses, lose a close one last game to Carolina, this game with 3 fairly key players injured blow out Nashville. I'll take the win either way.

Ridiculous. We have a fresh team, allow six shots in the first period and get scored on twice. We put up over 40 shots against the Sens and manage one goal through the entire game... against Devan Dubnyk. And the Sens scoring is guys like Blake Comeau and John Mitchell. Amazing really.

Shuffled up the lines a bit and got some output from the top line.

Whoever has my 1st should have sold it last week... Kings are going nowhere but up now!

Not a great effort, but we will take the win with the backup in net. Duchene nets his first point in a Devils Jersey, but we got outshot bad for the first time in a while. On a positive the PP scored both goals.

Nice bounce back win for Columbus. The Sharp - Couturier - Nelson line with all three goals.

Get lost Carter, your measly 2 goal performance just wont cut it in Dallas. 4 goal games or bust. Welcome Voracek!

Today was a goaltending battle between Jason Reimer & Braden Holtby with the Kings edging the Coyotes 2-1 in OT.

A total of 69 shots, with only a total of 3 goals allowed

Coyotes are in a stretch of 4 games in 4 nights. This is the 3 of the 4 games.

Coach made a decision to rotate the goalies.

3 Stars

1 - Jeff Skinner (LAK)
2 - Braden Holtby (LAK)
3 - James Reimer (PHO)

Game Notes

Coyotes Mike Santorelli is injured at 6:13 of 3rd period (Lacerated Right Calf). Only comment after the game was Mike is out long term.

Coyotes are looking for another right winger to take his place.

Nice comeback win vs the top team in the Conference. A late PP goal was the difference in a defensive battle. Quick was solid in the win and Mackinnon potted the winner.
