Many may not know that DOMI has Type 1 Diabetes. This is a neat story about how his Canine friend helps him manage it.

Diabetes service dogs are a marvel. I've read stories on the difference they can make in a family with diabetic children, and it can be really lifechanging. Heck, even life saving.

Nope. He goes back to his trainer in California

"He went back there while Domi and the Coyotes were on a recent nine-day road trip on the East Coast, and the plan is for Orion to have a dog-sitter to let him out of his crate and run around for a few hours on days when Domi has practices and home games."

More people know about him since he's been doing those blood tester commercials.
