Hearing Lee Stempniak will go to NJ on a PTO.

Why does this guy have such a hard time finding NHL jobs? Always liked him when he played for the Flames. Good depth player.

I thought he was great down the stretch run, with the Jets last season. I personally thought we should have kept him. Good depth player.

Yup! He seemed like he liked it here too.
He would be a perfect addition to our top 6. Cammi, Bennet, Frolik as a 2nd unit with Monahadreau??
Anyways, I'm surprised Stempniak is having a hard time getting a contract. Was he bad last season? He was a great player for us.

While that was memorable, and also complete crap, my most vivid memory of him was when he had 2 clone-like goals breaking into the right side of the offensive zone and sniping the far top corner over the tender's shoulder from the top of the circle.
