I like Josh Jooris
What an incredible story. Undrafted. No one was talking about him coming into this season.
Now he has 3 goals and 4 points in his first 6 NHL games and he is playing really well.

We could use another RW with right handedness in this lineup.

I enjoy going back to his signing thread and reading the comments of posters who thought he would be a wasted contract.

Incredibly fast kid. I really liked how quickly he had re-gained his balance after the stretch pass from Brodie and still out-skated both Montreal defensemen.

Hopefully he can continue to have success like the Flames other undrafted player

He is extremely fast... but he also showed great hands on his second goal, and he showed fantastic patience on his first goal.
Another thought is that... the Flames are turning into a very fast team. I can't wait until Poirier is on the roster as well!

I'm trying to understand how good this kid can be?
He seems like he has great hockey sense, but he's also strong on the puck and knows where to be...
Are we talking about a top 6 player?

I think middle 6 is a safe assumption.

He's on a hot streak right now, but I really don't think most people expect that level of offense to continue for him. From what he's shown so far he should be an excellent 3rd liner with a ton of energy who can get the odd goal in crucial moments. And those are the exact type of players you need if you want to get deep in the playoffs

Watching him last year in the AHL, I'm pleasantly surprised by this. He showed flashes of being a good player, but nothing like this. I don't know what he did in the summer but holy crap. This is great.
Now just change his damn number already. He used to wear 19 and Jones only uses it part time anyway.

I had no idea he was a center until he was moved back there the other night. I made the comparison to Craig Conroy when he was called up and I believe that even more now that's he's back in the middle. He skates fast but smoothly, keeps his head on a swivel and always seems to know how the play is going.
It's funny how some players come in with hype and some with none etc, who would have thought the same summer we signed Corban Knight, Josh Jooris would be the one taking a spot a season later.

I'm a Jooris fan. I think he's not going back unless it's a contract situation where they would lose a guy on waivers. He's been earning his NHL job and I even think he's forced McGrattan out of the lineup despite what he can bring.
