Deck & hot tub install / construction company recommendations?

A buddy is looking for a company that can build a new deck and install a hot tub.

Any company recommendations?

I just built my own for a new tub this summer. Could park a tank on it.

Whoever he goes with, I strongly recommend building it as a free-standing structure (not ledger board to house) if the tub is anywhere near the house. They are extremely heavy and you don't want your investment crashing down.

Also, if building a deck around your hot tub, make sure there is a way to easily access the hot tub for repairs. I was talking to the the guy who fixed my hot tub last week, and he said sometimes they show up to a house and can't access the tub and will just walk away from the job. I said "You'd think a company building decks would factor that when building a deck with a hot tub". He said that many don't, and don't care as it's not their problem to deal with.
