Preseason or not. No Sedins or not. It's always fun to beat the Nucks.

That can't be right. John Garrett told me that Hunter Shinkaruk was the third best player in the game.

I'd like to hear other people's thoughts, but I felt Sieloff had a great game.

Giordano-Hamilton is a downright scary pairing. The puck barely left the offensive zone when they were on the ice.

Crap! Forgot about the 3 on 3 OT, turned the TV off when the buzzer went at the end of the 3rd. How did the OY go

I dont care either way. Was never for or against the shootout. But I saw a couple OTs in Penticton and then again tonight. I dont see any difference. Both are a circus. Every game so far my brother and I bet. We set the over under at 2 mins. If the NHL is looking to avoid the shootout they found the way. I dont think a single game will get past 3 on 3 for 5 minutes.

I like the strategy of starting OT with Monahan-Gio-Hamilton. Most teams will likely be throwing out their firepower to start OT, so the Flames can counter with 2 D, who are also pretty good going the other way.

I wonder if Hartley would have gone back to that line, or if that was just to start?

Monahan almost scored early. Then Russell did score early. He skated through the Nucks like they weren't even there.

It barely lasted a minute and a half.

Let's see the Flames trade Baertschi and with the draft pick take Rasmus Andersson - this trade is going to be recalled fondly for years!
