In the local news recently has been four disturbing cases of animal abuse. All have involved cats, and have happened to outdoor cats, with the abuse being specifically acknowledged as 'adult human' caused. Outdoor cats face a lot of issues, true, but these ones are running up against a particularly sadistic and cruel person or persons. If you have outdoor animals, you may want to reconsider that for a bit.
