Flames Ramo starts vs the Flyers

Calgary Flames @NHLFlames
Karri Ramo will get the start tomorrow when the #Flames host the #Flyers. #PHIvsCGY

not sure this will be a popular choice

The word was out yesterday that Hartley doesn't want to rotate anymore and that Ramo was going to get the net until he finds his groove or dies trying (so to speak). So this choice wasn't a shock, and you hope with the knowledge that the goalie isn't changing the defense can figure their game out.

A meh move to me either way. To be honest, at this point, it doesn't really matter. Might as well see if we can instill some confidence in Ramo and the team and see how it works out by giving the same goalie a longer leash.

Wish they put Ortio on that leash instead of the guy leaving next year who is untradable

So bet on the flyers is what you're saying.

At this point, we just hope that Johnny and Bennett can score as many as Ramo lets in.

Ortio had his chance and didn't make the best of it. Ramo is the best option right now.

Good, it's about time we ride a goalie and see what we can get from them.

predict another blowout. With how our defense ( complete lack of ) and cardboard stand in we have for goalies. Yeah this could be an ugly mess. Sam and Johnny and Brodie the bright spots. Time for team to step up and show up.

it really doesn't matter who's in net as long as the defense plays like this. Honestly, I'd rather play Ramo right now than have Ortio lose all of his confidence behind a very shaky defense.

Yeah, Rick Ball was saying that they plan on giving Ramo a few more starts until Hiller comes back I assume.

Definition of insanity right here.

It's funny I'm losing a lot of whatever I had for Hartley.

I was thinking that they should most definitely ride a goalie to see what's there during this period - but that goalie was Ortio and most definitely not Ramo.

I have to laugh if Hartley is going to ride his hopes on a guy who we all know ain't gonna cut it.

Only thing I can think of is he's putting the onus back on Treliving as he's the one who signed him? Not sure...

we could have a ressurected Terry Sawchuck in net in his prime. And he'd be no better an option then Ramo atm. Why ? Our defense is a tire fire. Defense needs to learn the basics and play a heck of a lot better if were gonna get some faith back in our goalies. right now both have no faith in each other so both are shaky and bad. Oiler level bad .... that's the scary part.

Doesn't matter who's in net I guess. Ramo is the worst of them though. Hate that this is the problem of the year for the Flames.
