Jersey Questions
Does anyone know if the Flames are going to be redesigning their jerseys this season or soon?
I ask as I am looking to get one soon, just wondering if should wait if they are going to redesign.
Also, I am torn as to who's I should get, so many players that I like.

Buy a jersey, enjoy the ride. IMO the next new set of jerseys probably wont be out until the new arena is built, or Reebok/CCM decides to do a total rebranding.

But will the new Jersey require any public funding?

Go with Dawes. On the 89 home (white) jersey.

The current jerseys need a significant amount of remediation. Who pays for this?

I can't figure out how to post a picture from tapatalk for the life of me, but the Flames ECHL team released their jerseys today and they are actually quite nice. Based on the flames color scheme, but not an exact copy. They are kind of a hybrid between our regular and our third.

Not too shabby at all.
Could be a 'refresh' instead of an entire re-brand they seem to be hesitant to do.

^I like those.
I think I read somewhere that a team has to use an third jersey for 3 seasons before replacing it. I've just assumed the Flames would re-design all of their sweaters at that time. So next season?

I believe the current RBK contract expires at the end of next season. If that's the case, and someone else gets the contract besides RBK after that, I expect they'd want to do a redesign.

The stripes on the white jersey look too much like the German flag (the same problem the Flames' socks have).
IMO, black-yellow-red would look better.

I sort of like it! I would make the stripes smaller though.

The rest is great, but the stripes bug me. They remind me of a flag as others have already noted, but also remind me of some very interesting counterfeit jerseys I've seen before.
Maybe if the stripes were angled + varied widths instead of straight and consistent widths?

Might see a 35th anniversary patch this season? I feel like that 30th logo was at least 5 years ago.

They wore the 30th Anniversary patch in 2009-10, so last season would have been the 35th.
