Carey Price done for the season
Quote:
According to a report in La Presse, Canadiens goaltender Carey Price will likely not play again in the regular season.
The report quotes sources as saying that price is suffering from a injury to the medial collateral ligament (MCL) of his right knee.
Under the best possible scenario, Price could return right at the end of the season and the playoffs, assuming the Canadiens make the postseason.

If true, Habs playoff hopes are all but dead.
Would they want Hiller?

Can Calgary even trade Hiller if Ramo is done? They don't have enough healthy goalies to ice both an AHL and NHL roster.

Yeah Ramo injury pretty much bones the idea of trading either of our goalies.

Don't like seeing a guy's season be ruined over injury.
But I also don't like seeing the Habs do well. So yeah.

This might be good for them in the long run. They weren't good enough to do anything in the playoffs anyway, but you add a top 5 pick to that group, maybe.

No, they would not want Hiller. He doesn't give them anything Scrivens doesn't.
But yeah. It was obvious Price was done when that video surfaced a couple weeks ago.

Massive sell off of vets coming you'd think. They would be making a major mistake trying to squeak into the playoffs only to get blasted. Tank hard and go for one of the big 3 and reboot next year with a fully healthy (and rested) Price ready to carry them again, but with better young talent.

When he didn't come back after the initial 4-6 weeks, he should have been shut down.
Braden Holtby, Canada's crease is yours to lose.

Sorry, I typically ignore the Habs, what video? What did I miss?
And if Price is done they are getting seriously exposed for the frauds they are.
They've got a top 3 Goalie, a top 10 dman and....nope thats it.

They don't really have any good pending UFAs. Weise, Fleischmann, Gilbert and Byron. And Scrivens.

A little bit of me wants Scrivens to like it up.
The pain from Oiler fan would be worth it.
