Default So, I'm going to the draft...
...and I have an extra ticket if anyone is planning on being in Sunrise Florida roughly 2 weeks from now. I had a buddy of mine that was going to join me, but that fell through, and there really aren't a whole lot of hockey fans in South Florida passionate enough to go to an entry draft.

Round 1 begins at 7 pm on June 26th. Rounds 2-7 begin at 10 am the next morning.

That's cool that you are going. Highly unlikely I will be there, but my wife entered me into a contest for a trip down there for the draft.

I would love to go. I'll actually be in Orlando that whole week. Sadly, I need to be back in Alberta for a family wedding on the weekend of the draft.

lol, I always assumed Cali was Ron Swanson. Doing those epic GDTs seems like the perfect way to waste time at a government job.

It's a sports tradition to boo commissioners, not a hockey one. It's not just Bettman either, David Stern, probably the greatest commissioner in sports history, was so used to it by the end of his tenure, he'd just smile.

The best thing about Bettman being boo'd is the way he reacts. His smug little smile and head wiggle saying the cities name followed by "..I love your passion" always cracks me up.
