Holy horse shoes Batman. Forward thinking soul so close to being defeated. Take the best player available as always.

A goalie. Always pick a goalie in the 1st round.

Don't you think were stacked on goalies? Ortio and Gillies in the long term plans and McDonald too.

We should pick a coach. You can never have too many good coaches.

I've heard that this Gaudreau kid is pretty good. Is he available? Can we take him in the first round? Although some seem worried that his size will prevent him from ever being an NHLer. Maybe we better not try to gamble...

With the 1st round pick this year I am really sold on what Evgeny Svechnikov brings to the table. @15 I feel like he'll be a bargain.

6'3" 205lbs. Has the size, has the skill and a frickin' laser beam of a shot.

I could see him moving one or two to grab a good RFA or signed younger player with good upside from a cap strapped team. Should definitely keep one of them. Hopefully only needs to spend one on a RFA/player.

Pretty substantial RFA list out there this off season.

Hopefully the huge 6'4 215lb RW Mikko Rantanen is a target, probably will need to move up a few spots to get him though. A scout told me he'll most likely go 11-15 but with his size, skating and hockey sense should go 5-10.

Monahan syndrome...played on a crap team.
