With the blowout Wotherspoon was able to get in 14:32 of ice time and was a 0 plus minus.

I was a little worried the Ducks would go after Ferland's head to try to neutralize him.

They didn't. It was just a weird awkward play.

I always love your write-ups...I disagree with Gaudreau as the best flame last night...sure, he had some good stick-handling, but he turned over the puck a lot, including a brutal pass up the middle from his own zone.

I thought Backlund had a strong game, he'd be #1 Flame, for me... honourable mention to Colborne and Shore.

Engelland was on for 5 of the 6 GA. Just a bad game all around.

If you look at the last two columns here (Scoring Chances For and Scoring Chances Against), you can start to see why we lost:

Here's a shoulder to the head. I can't find a video of the other hit where I can slow it down enough but I remember seeing it as an elbow to the head also.
