2015 Run for the roses

Derby time again in Louisville, huge 20 horse field, hit the tri or superfecta in this race you're looking at a very nice return.

Favorites are #17 American Pharoah(5-2) and #8 Dortmund. Both are Baffert horses

My longshot picks to be in the mix is the huge #3 horse Materiality(12-1), not much experience but won all 3 starts including a $1 million grade 1 race in florida. I also like the beautiful grey #14 horse Frosted(15-1)

I'm always a big fan of the derby.

There have been 2 scratches. #7 El Kabeir and #11 Stanford.

AE #21 Frammento will draw in, so that makes it a 19 horse field.

Heads up T@T American Pharoah is wearing #18. You will be very disappointed if you bet on 17!.

#18 American Pharoah is still the favorite presently at 3-1

And Frosted is #15.

I see what you've done here T@T. I think you are looking at their gate number. Because of the scratches some of the horses have shifted gates.

Be aware that their saddle cloth doesn't change, and when you place a bet it is based on their saddle cloth, not gate number!

Yeah no worries, because of the scratches the numbers were a little forked. I didn't cash anyway as I left Dortmund completely out (finished 3rd) and my favorite longshot Materiality didn't fire down the stretch and finished 6th. My other longshot "Frosted" didn't really disappoint and finished 4th.

I only played the superfecta looking for the big hit like in 2007(over 100k) and boxed 2/3/10/15/18.... $120 down the tube!

Payout sucked for such a big field, always next year.
