Playoffs, yeah Baby!!!!

HD is coming to Calgary. My buddy who is also a huge Flames fan and I are making the cross country trip from Halifax to Calgary for games 3 & 4.

Booking with Aeroplan was a pain in the butt. The flights heading west are really limited, getting home is easy. In the end we had to book:
Moncton - Toronto - Edmonton

On Friday afternoon we will rent a car and drive 2.5-3 hours from Halifax to Moncton. Then we fly to Toronto for a two hour layover before finally making our way to Edmonton. We land at 1:04am (4:04am to us). We will grab some sleep at my buddy's friend's house then get up Saturday morning and drive to Calgary. It's a crazy round-about way to get there but at least we will make it.

Our flight has wifi so game 2 will be watched in the air. "Hey Flight Attendant, keep the drink cart close-by will ya?"

Now comes the real hard part; getting tickets. I know everyone wants tickets so this is a longshot, but if anyone ends up looking to sell or knows someone who is please fire me a PM. I've looked on kijiji but it's hard to buy when I'm not in town until Saturday. I applied to join the Flames ticket facebook group (thanks skudr248 for the heads up).

If we don't get tickets in the end, I hope to see some fellow CP members at a bar/pub or out on the Red Mile. "Psst, the Sky is Blue...."

Dang, it's gonna be a long week.

Either the rules have changed significantly or HD has an immense amount of interior space.

wow - really happy for you!! i was in calgary for the first round in 2004 an it was awesome, you´ll guys will have a blast for sure, enjoy the games and the atmosphere in the city

Make sure to grab some Flames car flag's before you drive down the QE2 from Edmonton, and make sure to drive down Whyte Ave a few times with them just to piss off some Oiler losers!

Make sure to get some extended insurance coverage too, never know when a Oilers jersey will be thrown at you and possbily block your view from the windshield.

You're going that far, HD. You GOTTA go to at least one of the games! I would do game 4 if I were you. Take in the Red Mile for game 3 and there'll be way more hanging in the balance for game 4 (hopefully an elimination game for the canucks). As flames89 suggested, stubhub would be your best bet right now. Last I checked the cheapest ticket in the dome is floating around $218 on stubhub and you can get the tickets emailed to you.

We got seats for Game 4!! Now to keep working on Game 3.

Saying thanks to CP's own getbak just doesn't seem like enough. I will be forever grateful for you selling me your seats. There will be two happy, crazy decked out Flames fanatics screaming our heads off because of you.

Shogged & RedMileDJ just made my Christmas list! I just want to thank you guys by name as Shogged gave his ticket code to RMDJ who in-turn unselfishly then sent it for me. Both of you guys will be remembered by myself and my buddy for life. With the code were were able to get seats 10 rows back in the Flames corner. I am still so excited I needed to post before heading to bed (and I've been up for 24:07 hours right now). Thanks is not enough. CP continues to shine!
