Default Anyone worried about Miller?

He's a vet, he has playoff experience, and he looked pretty solid and his two periods last night. We all know how good he can be. I would be very surprised not to see him start tomorrow. What do the Flames need to do to get to him?

no. I am not worried.

Their defencemen are hearing steps every time they go to retrieve a puck. We'll force turnovers and get chances.

Further, many of our goals against Lack were because we're going to the tough areas and either screening the goalie or getting rebounds. That will work against any goaltender.

Keep crashing the net! As we saw in previous instances, you can get under his skin.

I am actually a bit worried as well. As far as I see it, he's their only chance of staying in the series. However, he's proven in the past that he is mentally weak in the playoffs. Also, he has only played and won one game in the past 3 months, a game in which he allowed 5 goals against the Oilers

Quick had playoff experience and far more success and look what the Flames did to him all season. I am not worried about Miller.

We didn't really test Miller very much...we went into more of a defensive style after we got the 3-1 lead. I think we can get some goals past him when we're playing our aggressive style.

I'd rather see Lack in game 5 but I don't think that will happen.

Not worried at all. Hes an average starter at best and only took about 15 shots last night from a team that was comfortably ahead and just playing out the string to end the game. With all the marbles on the table in game 5 he's no different than Lack or any other average goalie.

Well, he has nothing to lose personally which is scary. He will likely have the calmest nerves of anyone on the ice next game.

I expect that he will be good and the biggest test for the Flames so far in this series. I wouldn't say I am worried, but the series is still far from over IMO.

He looked 'solid' against a team that was more focused on bogging the game down and keeping Vancouver to the outside than it was trying to create offence.

Lack is a better goalie than Miller, so if they stick with him in game five, that favours us.

Would rather see Lack, too.

No desire to see Miller come in, win a game, and become a rallying point / confidence changer in this series.

He can be a fantastic goalie and a difference maker, but right now the Flames are playing at a higher level than the Canucks. We get three cracks at winning this series.

Am I worried? No. It's Ryan Miller and the Vancouver Canucks who should be worried.

And I honestly think that they are.

He wasn't exactly stellar for the Blues in last years playoffs. I'm not too worried.

not worried at all. The nucks are beyond saving at this point, their issues aren't in net. Lack wasn't terrible, except maybe last night, but he really wasn't that bad, the team itself has no heart or determination and their defenders are always looking over their shoulders. Miller won't really make a difference.

Ask St. Louis fans if we should be worried about Miller!

I think he gives them a bump next game - 2-0 Canucks. Then the Flames score early and at will in Game 6

I was texting a friend in Vancouver last night and during the 2nd intermission I said the potentially best scenario for the 3rd was for both teams to remain scoreless and ensure Miller starts game 5. Miller is not nearly as good as Lack is right now, so I think Miller between the pipes is an advantage for the Flames. My buddy solemnly agreed.

Vancouver's issue has not been goaltending this series.

Besides, he wasn't exactly a world-beater during the regular season. It's one thing to steal one game, but three? In a row?

The more important question is whether Ryan Miller's dad will be at Rogers Arena on Thursday...
