Default Lance Fricking Bouma!!

This guy needs a thread! Puts his career on the line with those 3 HUGE blocks in the third period!!

hahaha. and he is using his chest to block these shots! Great shot of the Flames bench congratulating him right after those blocks.

His career on the line! haha

Great work by Bouma at the end tho, you can tell this season it's a real TEAM. Not some sort of divided room.

This right here in bold. Man seeing the team all get behind each other is so heartening, and putting it all on the line like that from Bouma, just hot dayum!!!! He deserved that CFD Hat more than anyone else tonight.

Easily the first star in my books tonight. Flames put a shut down clinic on in the third with the shots blocking lead by Bouma. This is what Edmonton is missing. Heart.

Love this guy. What grit, and determination. And after his blown knee, to play like that, wow.

So happy he is finally on the big team.

We really missed having a guy like Bouma in the lineup last season. He's the kind of guy that would block a shot with his face if it would help the team win the game. High energy, hits everything that moves, and can chip in offensively a bit too.

That's just unfair. They have plenty of heart(s).

They're just ice-cold and void of any human emotion.

Kinda like a musician who gets parodied by Weird Al, you know you've finally made it when you get a "frickin" thread.

I think you're confusing heart with assistant captain(s)!

Bouma is full of heart, grit, leadership and 'intangibles'. They are often the unsung heroes of championship teams. Really looking forward to him being a staple in the lineup for years to come.

Bouma had a legendary shift. McGrattan also came up to Backlund in the post game gathering after Backlund took one for the team. Big Ern was a great team guy tonight. Love it
