Question Bars in NYC to watch the flames!?

So I'm heading to NYC on Thursday and was curious if any CPers have ever been and know of any great sports bars that would play the games? Any help?

https://www.professorthoms.com

It's a Sox/Bruins bar, but they'll be more than happy to change the channel in a booth to the Flames game for you.

Foleys is right by Madison square garden and show hockey all the time. Great collection of baseballs on display as well

Worst case scenario you can go to ESPN Zone in Times Square. Crap food, but works in a pinch. Watched one of the 2010 Olympics games there in a recliner, so that was nice.

Sorry to write in this thread, but do not know how to start one. Where is there a good spot to watch the Flames in Chicago?
Thanks in advance.

It's the conference semi-finals. I'm sure any sports bar would have the games on no?

Hockey in the states? Not likely. Especially not if a local team isn't involved.

Coolest sports bar in the city is 40/40 Club (http://the4040club.com/)

Chances you get to see the Flames? 50/50

Oh, and bring your wallet!

You think its hard to find a bar that shows hockey in Chicago? Have you actually ever been to Chicago?

No, I thought we were talking about NYC. Also I would think it may be tough to find a bar with a round 2 game between Calgary and Anaheim on tv. I am sure if you asked though you could get it. But to walk in and have it on? I'd wager not likely.

I could be wrong though.

I'm going to be in NYC for games 2 and 3. In Baltimore for game 4. This thread was perfect timing. Thanks for the NYC suggestions. Anyone know of a good place in Baltimore to watch?

I go to Foleys everytime I'm in NY and it is a great pub. I asked them if they will show the Flames games and they replied

"Shouldn't be an issue. Might not have sound, but I'm sure we can get the game on."

Baltimore might be burned down by the time game 4 rolls around

7pm in Anaheim is 10 pm in NYC. Does NYC have last call?

This was closed in 2011 when I was there.

The only ESPN Zone left is in Anaheim in downtown Disney.
