Tyler Toffoli: Should the Flames give him any special treatment on Thursday?
Keep Toffoli off the scoresheet and I think we're in the playoffs. I firmly believe that. This guy has simply been their best winger this season, and he has burnt the Flames all season too: Four goals and an assist in three games. To be honest, I thought we dodged a bullet when he was out in the big wideman snipe overtime win because Toffoli wasn't playing.
Personally I think the Flames need to give him the Iginla/Ovechkin treatment and have a man on him at all times.
(Oh, and also can't have our wingers lose track of Doughty, either).

Ya buy him a new set of golf clubs for the summer after we're done kicking their buts. But realistically he plays on a line with Carter if you cover Toffoli too much he other one will just get open.

This. All sorts of this. If the Flames can get Quick to pull a Cloutier (it's happened before) it's over.
Doughty can be had this way too, but much tougher.
Best way is to play the system and use our speed. Need a huge game from the top line.

Why on Earth would you think Toffoli is the problem? I would say the biggest threat is Doughty given how motivated he's looked, but Kopitar, Gaborik and Carter are all bigger problems than Toffoli among their forwards.
