Default [OOT] April 2nd, The day the earth stood still and Edmonton actually WON a game

Ok listen OOT, you and I both know there is no way Edmonton can beat LA today but just consider a few things:
- We believe in you
- Pylon is going to eat something extra special for you today
- You had the day off yesterday to revitalize
- We'll even let the Vancouver and Minnesota games slide if you can pull this one off

So here are some suggestions on ways to make it happen:
- Give the oilers about 7 powerplays (including a 5 min PP late 3rd)
- Give a touch of pylon's runs to the Kings players
- Make the kings too complacent since they are playing an AHL team
- Grant god mode on whichever Edmonton goalie is playing today after all they haven't had a god mode game yet this year

Make it so!

The Kings, Jets, Canucks or Wild will not lose another game this regular season.

1730h

at on and simulcast on and also on in french

This is the big game in the eastern conference which involves a pair of Original Six teams.
It is the only game on national television. The Bruins are just two points back of the
Red Wings for third place in the Atlantic Division.

1700h
Islanders at BJs---important for the Islanders as they try
to stay ahead of the wild card teams. It will be difficult as
the BJs have won seven straight games.
______________________________________

1730h
Capitals at Canadiens---the Capitals are chasing the Islanders and the Habs
are right behind the Rangers. Ovechkin shooting on Price, should be terrific.

Lightning at Senators---it is almost do or die for the Senators and the Hamburglar will be in net.
Tampa Bay can overtake the Habs and Bishop has great record against Ottawa.

Hurricanes at Panthers---this is the weakest link on the OOT. A Panthers regulation loss
and two points by the Bruins will eliminate the felines from the race.

The remaining games need no introduction.

1800h---Rangers at Wild

1830h---Canucks at Blackhawks

2030h---Oilers at Kings

Seeing that it's Edmonton we are rely'ing on. It would be fitting for Pylon to eat some road-kill, like a squirrel or gopher. Keep a look-out people!

Quick will get a shutout and the Kings will score 8 goals.

Just to be safe, I'll bet on the kings tonight!

Dear hockey gods,

Please show this hardworking and non-tanking Flames team, made up of a group of warriors that lack divers, whiners and punks, some love.

Smite our enemies tonight.

Amen

Allah has sent his most loyal and devout subjects to Edmonton to ensure a victory against the Kings (aka the infidels). May he long bring glory to North. May Hall score 100 goals and vindicate the rebuild. May Lowe be heralded as the greatest GM/VPops/Oiler in franchise history. And may Nooooge grow a mullet as great as number 88's and bring the glory back to the city of Champions

Allah Akbar, we are north, Allah akbar.
