Default QOTD: How will the Flames do on this 5 game road trip

Games:

Minnesota
Nashville
Dallas (back to back)
St. Louis
Edmonton

The team has 87 points with 8 games to go, a .500 record overall gives them 95 and likely 9th spot in the West

Are they in good stead after this trip or in trouble?

IMO we are hooped now.

Team is running low on fuel, and losing its "mojo".

Valiant effort this year, but I think this trip is gonna be the death blow.

This trip is an incredibly tough stretch regardless of home/away. Only saving grace is Winnipeg's is harder

Perfect. Backs against the wall with very little chance of success. This is when we play our best hockey.

Get to O/T, and take a shot at the extra points.

We're 2-0 against Nashville this year and I'm pretty confident we'll beat the Oilers.

So if we can get 2 or 3 points between Minnesota, St Louis, and Dallas, that'd put us in a good position

Minnesota has to come back to earth.

St Louis is a loss

Nashville is 50/50, they're starting to suck right now (although they did just win 2 straight)

Dallas is always tough. We can't seem to control their big guns.

Score early on Edmonton and they will fold their tents. If we lose to them, we don't really deserve to get into the playoffs.

4-6 points. 4 or less is disappointing, 6 or more is spectacular.

By the time we get to Dallas, they should be done and dusted. I like us for 7 points on the trip. The Minnesota game is likely the most important game of the five.

I chose 5-6 but I feel like they will somehow surprise to the upside, like they have done all year.

I'm going to randomly predict about 3 games will go to overtime and 2 games will be blow outs. No idea tbh. Having Bouma and Eggs put in the production they have... I am confuse.

They will do well. Well enough to make the playoffs.

2-2-1 keeps us in striking distance. Already counting the LA and Arizona games as must-wins, that puts us at 96 heading to Winnipeg.

as always I think the Flames will go 5-0-0 for 10 points.

Simply put, if the Stars can go 9-0-0 we can go 5-0-0 and clench
