Default Advice on Nord VPN

Hello CP,

I am tired of travelling to the USA or other destinations outside of Canada and not being able to access my Telus TV, and other streaming platforms.

Would Nord VPN help me?

Thanks in advance to all you tech wizards.

Yes. I don't know if it's the best option, but you certainly can use it for that.

I was able to watch the first game of the season when I was jet-lagged in the middle of the night in Barcelona through the Sportsnet app with Nord.

One annoying thing with it is the only Canadian servers they have are in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal, so if you wanted to watch something that was geo-locked to Alberta, you wouldn't be able to (like a Flames regional game on Sportsnet West). I don't know if any of the other VPN services have any Alberta servers, if that would be important to you.

FYI I use PIA and they also only have Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ontario and Ontario Streaming servers in Canada.

I think with Nord Meshnet you can just route through your home connection, but you'd need to leave something with Nord running on at home. So you should be able to stream anything you can from home.

I've got Nord, and if you decide to go that way use this link and we both get 3 free months.
