The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired winger Michael Raffl from the Winnipeg Jets in what seems like a last ditch effort by their GM to propel the team in a playoff position. As the Hurricanes contunie their Buy Now attitude the send Backup goaltender Karri Ramo and ECHL prospects.
Ramo was featured in many trade rumours this this week after he commented that GM Hanna Sniper "should shut the ^%#@ up he's making this franchise sound like idiots" when the net minder responded to a reporters question about recent comments by the Canes GM had said that "the Hurricanes were a lock for the post season and fully expects to see John Tavares to win the Lanny McDonald Award" a MVP trophy that has eluded him for two years
