I find it easy to say that the league (NHL, NHLPA, Wild and Rangers) failed Derek Boogaard and his family. It really is a good read for such a sad story, and further skews my personal postion on fighting in hockey.
For something lighter and funny I would suggest Journeyman by Sean Pronger which I read as well... Do not recommend "Hockey Night in Dixie" this was a great concept that really fell on its face.
Anyways has anyone else read Boy on Ice? And what did you think?

Nope, but I love hockey books, so I'm going to pick it up because of this. So thanks. I'm assuming it's at all the major bookstores, chapters, indigo etc?
Read Sean Pronger's book and loved it. Really interesting to see the true way teams operated and the culture within the teams and all that.
