Default With Giordano out and Glencross traded, who will be the third "A"?

Kris Russell and Jiri Hudler are the assistants while Giordano are out, as was Glencross, but now that he's been traded, who do you see picking up where Glennie left off?

Personally, I see Monahan, Backlund or Wideman having the best chance. Of course, they could go the Dustin Boyd route and give it to someone we didn't project.

Backlund, Monahan, Bouma, Brodie are all good choices.

Edit: and Stajan too.

Hudler or Backlund.

Too early to give one to Monahan. I hate when teams do that (Colorado with Landeskog for example).

Hudler already has an A.

Brodie makes more sense because of his long term contract.

Hudler should remain an Assistant with Glencross traded and Brodie should be while Gio is gone.

Not permanently though, but if we're counting his temporary A, Backlund.

Likely Backlund (and I have no issue with that) but could definitely see Wideman with how he is going to be shouldering the load with Giordano gone.

With Glencross gone, I think Hudler has the A permanently now.

Gonna say Bouma, for the same reason that Russell has a letter.
