Winsport. Saddledome is being converted for concert use. Hitmen even had to start their playoff series on the road even though they have home ice advantage.

Can the game be optional too? I mean, would anyone care if we dressed 4 defensemen and 9 forwards?

It can. Just dress them all, but only ice 4 defensemen and 9 forwads.

I imagine that it's considered a nice bonus if they win on Saturday.
If Van loses then it's great, but I think they're preparing for this like it's going to be an away series.
FWIW Our friend in Vancouver that manages certain facilities there let us know that they Flames have booked practice facilities for Tuesday and Thursday already at UBC.

Both Calgary and Vancouver have just as many wins on the road as they do at home. Home ice advantage in this series will mean absolutely nothing, especially if rival fans invade the road building by a decent amount.
