We go to the Jets game with 97 points, LA: 96 WPG : 95. The games goes into OT and the Flames win it. We clinch 3rd place with 99 points and LA wins their game against the Sharks with 98, making them clinch the final wild card spot.

Sam Bennett joins the roster, a line of Bennett-Backlund-Jooris combines for seven goals in these last two games.

As I mentioned in the other thread the deadline moves made by Winnipeg's GM makes him look like an absolute genius and really is anyone surprised that LA is on a tear when it matters most?
At this pace I am really worried those games will be irrelevant.

Honestly, with the way things are going, those games aren't even going to matter.

Flames going to end the season like they end every game this year.... Just when everyone thinks they have no chance at coming back, they win the final 2 and sneak into the playoffs!

Too early to be making any predictions. Alot can happen between now and then with the possibility of both games meaning squat.

My prediction is it comes down to Calgary vs Winnipeg and the Flames must win in regulation. The game is tied late in the third and Calgary gets the game winner with the goalie pulled!

We will see after this 5 game road trip. Need to go 3-1-1 to have a chance. I think LA will go 4-0 on their road trip. The peg have a harder schedule but got a win against Montreal tonight.

How are people already saying those games aren't going to matter? Those are going to be the two most crucial games of the season for us with the way things are going right now and may just come down to that last game of the season against the Jets. A lot can still happen from now until then so it's going to be a crazy ride to the finish.

I don't think they will matter unless at least one of the Jets or Kings loses two games in a row down the stretch and maybe 3 of 5. Not likely but still possible.

Montreal is a .500 team without price this year
25 games above overall

Quite possible that the Flames just need to win of the two games in regulation to make the playoffs.

Don't disagree with you, but this was one of the the tough games for the Peg ,if Price plays, but they decide to give Jets 2 points by putting in back-up. It still knocks off one hard game for the Peg that results in 2 points.

I actually think that Van is the odd team out. Their schedule is by far the hardest. No need to worry about the Kings IMHO.
