For the life of me I cant picture that building in my head.
I went to St Marys and drive by there all the time.... it doesnt look like a new building in that photo. Anyone know what commercial tenants occupy that place?

Calgary Inner city fire?
I was stuck in the traffic jam heading south, ended up going to Blackfoot to get home. Lotta smoke 
Wow those pictures!! Couldn't see the fire when I was there just the smoke. Crazy

X92.9 is reporting they're evacuating the Talisman? Out of caution, one assumes. Crikey, I hope no other buildings are lost - not that it's good that this one went up, but hopefully they can keep it from spreading.

Seems to be a lot less smoke now than there was 45 minutes ago.
There was some charred paper landing in Mission and Cliff Bungalow. Not a lot, but I saw a few pieces floating across 4th street and coming down.
