Huge win!

Thanks for the write-up. Really appreciate these, especially since I often can't watch the games on weekdays.

I'm not saying Engelland is going to be a top defenceman but he does a lot better when playing with a skilled partner where he supplies the muscle. His partnership with Smid was a mismatch for both of them. Diaz is better but still Diaz isn't very good either.

Nice write up again. Thanks.

Any word on how long Byron is out for?

Best result! Flames win in OT.

As a Flames fan, I'm keeping my eye on Vancouver. WPG, MIN, LA don't seem to be slowing down, and Vancouver is struggling with injuries.

No analysis on the disallowed goal?

Were you watching the Philly feed?

I was. And I felt that they were badly misinterpreting what was going on on that goal. After watching it several times now, it seems like an obvious call to me. Ramo made the save. Nick Schultz landed on Ramo, and knocked the puck with his knee into the net. Ramo had no chance to make the second save.

I don't know why they were going on about whether the puck crossed the line before or after Shultz made contact with Ramo. It looked to me as though he hit the puck and Ramo almost simultaneously. The whole problem with the goal was Ramo's inability to make the save because Schultz was on top of him.
