How has he been in Addy?
One more NHL game and he will have to go through waivers to go back down.

Another guy that seemingly passed Baertschi in the organization. Excited to see if he can pan out because we got him on the cheap and he has a lot of good attributes (shot, skating, size.)

If I remember right he was waiver eligible next year regardless of games played.

As a reminder after the trade deadline, there is no more 23 man roster limit and teams have 4 non-emergency callups.
This will use one.

no Waivers still exist, but given the Flames cap situation and no more 23 man roster limit, Flames have no reason to send him back down.

Don't want to start a new thread for this, but are Poirier/ferland eligible for AHL playoffs if Ad makes it and if they were sent down and recalled from this point onwards, does that affect the 4 recall limit? If so it looks like the flames have made their decision on who they want to see get some
NHL experience...(barring further injuries).

When Baertschi was traded it got me thinking about Drew Shore:
(i) how his current development compares to Baertschi
(ii) how his upside compares to Baertschi
(iii) how is trade value compares to Baertschi (i.e. once Baertschi becomes waiver eligible, similar to Shore this year)
Also, has Shore been playing centre in Adirondack or on the wing (given that he likely projects as a winger at the NHL level).

Ferland, Granlund, Poirier have been assigned to Adirondack per Treliving so they would be eligible for AHL playoffs.
Will decide later tonight which one(s) if any will be recalled.

So the Flames still have how many extras up right now? 5?
Wolf,Ferland,Shore, Potter and Schlemko.

As long as a player has played x games on the farm team they should be eligible.

Interesting but I just don't see where Shore fits in but than again I didn't see the point in signing Jooris. More competition is always good though and he has good size.
