Default "Mr. Kruger", George's Boss on Seinfeld Shoots Himself

Daniel von Bargen who played the role of "Mr. Kruger", "George Costanza's" boss on 'Seinfeld' shot himself in the temple and is clinging to life. The article explains that he was slated to have his toes removed due to complications from diabetes and did not want to go so he shot himself in the head.

This is sad and tragic. Mr. Kruger was a great character on Seinfeld. When he said that George should be called "CO-CO" it was hilarious! This guy is only 61 years old and has already lost one leg due to his health issues, likely lifestyle choices but sad none the less.

Great character actor, he had a hilarious recurring role on Malcolm in the Middle as well.

All the old Seinfeld guys are dying off. Uncle Leo, Kruger, Mr. Pitt, Morty . . .

That's sad. Really liked him in Malcolm in the Middle.

Even he couldn't stand the thought of losing a few toes then how is he going to cope with the after effects of a bullet to the temple?

Cruel thing to say but hey.

Show me a guy who survives a self-inflicted gun shot to the head and I'll show you a guy who wasn't really ready to die.

Likely a cry for help from a very depressed man.

Actually shooting yourself in the head sounds more like an attempt than a try for help. It isn't the sort of thing you expect to survive.
