Asus ZenFone 2 will be sold at Newegg, NCIX, Canada Computers and Memory Express in two configurations: a quad-core 1.8Ghz version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage, for $249 CAD; and a more powerful 2.3Ghz quad-core version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, for $379 CAD. Both variants will be sold unlocked. Both models share the same 5.5-inch 1080p panel, 13MP rear camera sensor, 5MP front-facing shooter and 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
Great specs and an awesome price. Also getting pretty good reviews. Unfortunately I just got a Moto g about a month ago for the same price with less RAM and less storage.

That's an excellent deal!

Competes with the One Plus One but without all the headaches of a startup.

I might have a to do a little swap

Very good specs. Everything is pretty close to my LG G3. Screen isn't quite as good, but it does have 4GB of RAM compared to my 3GB.

For those looking to buy this, looks like they sold out pretty darn quick when they went on sale here in Canada.

Edit: At some retail places.

Some confusion as to whether this will work with Wind? The update in the article made it appear as no..

Thanks!

From what I've read, they said it did support Wind initially and now no.

I thought you had the Note 4? Didn't like it?

Every time I think I like a phone a new one pops up that I want to check out. Seems to be a good/cheap phone. There are a number like this out now.

My company had a hand in developing the screen on the Acatel Idol 3 which seems comparable in specs and price to this. Working on the mothership to give discounts...

Loved it. Unfortunately the wife loved it more. She had a free upgrade, but the Note 4 was still $299 at Rogers. Being the nice guy that I am, I offered to give her my Note 4 and get the LG G3 from Rogers for $49.95. Specs are very close on both phones and the LG G3 has some great features, so now everyone is happy.

Ugh, I was holding off for this since it was announced in March that the Canadian release was in April. My Nexus 4 was walking dead and after one final screen freeze, I buckled and bought an S5 Active for more than I wanted to spend on a phone. Now I'm just plain bitter.

Well, for once in my life, a cell phone release was timed just right with my 1.5 year old launching my Galaxy S4 down the stairs. Oh well, good riddance to that POS. Having to tape a piece of foam into the guts of the phone so the SIM card contacts would touch is not my idea of spectacular design. But anyways...

Picked up the 4GB Ram/64GB version. Screen is really nice. It's amazing how close to the edge it goes. Have only had it for less than a day so I've only begun to load it all up to see how it does. So far though...switching between apps is super fast. Guess that's what the Intel Atom quad-core 2.3GHz Z3580 will do. I really like the volume button being in the middle of the back. Super handy. Apart from that, still playing around with it. Any of you fellow cell phone geeks know what types of things I should do to put it through it's paces?

Can't wait to hear your opinion on the cameras.

I read somewhere that it was confirmed that it would work on Wind. I'll see if I can find it.

Found it here. http://mobilesyrup.com/2015/05/18/as...ampaign=buffer

My Nexus 4 is on its last legs too.... I've been looking to buy a phone off-contract too, so this could be perfect.

Wonder why they couldn't get that right the first time? Misinformation I suppose or lack of information. Many sites were reporting no Wind support. Glad MS finally got the details right for Wind users.
