Kris Russell just spoke on Fan960 praising Glencross on and off ice. Hartley's on now.
Hartley said that Russell asked for some time off the warm-up to say good-bye to Glencross. Hartley said if you go, everyone goes and let the whole team go to spend some time with Glencross and bid him farewell.

Glencross will go back to Calgary to be re-examined before joining Washington.

Russell spoke glowingly about the example Glencross set for young guys and even guys like himself about how to be a pro, about how to use your being an NHL player to make other people's lives better. Spoke about a large amount of time Glencross and his family spent in the community and without cameras around.
That says an awful lot about the kind of guy Glencross is and how involved his family is in the community. Good for Russell as well.
