Cable network HBO on Friday said it will produce eight bonus episodes of its hit mob drama "The Sopranos" to air from January 2007 in a surprise move likely to delight fans of hot-tempered crime boss Tony Soprano.

Although I gotta admit, I'm getting pretty annoying waiting so long inbetween seasons. Season 6 doesn't air until March!!!

Agreed. But this has to be one of my favorite shows on TV, so Im excited!

OOOOOOOO...........WHat a day.....my fave team gets its goalie........and my fav TV show easily comes back for a 7th and the best part?? I dont have to wear more than a year and a half for it!!!!!!!!!

With this announcement, it gives me another summer to ponder how they are gonna end the show. Does Tony die, does he go to jail, does Carmella die?? I have no idea how they are gonna leave this show and i love playing the guessing game.

I love this show as well, but I was quite disappointed to hear way back when that there would be 2 or so years in between Season 5 and 6. I can't wait til March rolls around, and to hear there will be one more season after that one is just even better news. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.
