Hopefully one year we will be in a position to trade late 1st rounders for roster players who can make an impact and help us make a deep run in the playoffs. Dreaming right now.

Sekera is probably a good fit for the Kings with Voynov's career likely finished.
1st round pick + makes sense.

Kings are paying the price but this makes them a better team and D men are at a premium.
I thought I heard McKeowan wasn't having a great year but still that's a guy I was hoping the Flames would have taken.

I'm sure you're right. I'm just wondering "what if".
They'll probably be fine though. I doubt Voynov plays another NHL game.
