Default 2015-2016 Flames Renewal out

The 2015-2016 Flames Renewal forms are out one month earlier than last year.

Prices up 3%. Club fee up 5%.

No mention of playoffs prices. My assumption is that if there is no renewal of season tickets for the 2015-2016 season, then there is no option to the first right of refusal on your 2014-2015 seats for 2014-2015 playoffs.

Just curious, what is a club fee?

I don't think I can remember a year the prices didn't go up a little at least.

How much is it and why is it separate from the ticket pice?

Is it a food and beverage fee or something?

I just put myself on the Hot House list to wait today. Gonna be a looooong time, I figure, but not nearly as long as it might be if they make playoffs this year.

It used to be cushy seats and waiter service. But that was many years ago. Unsure if those perks remain.

I think the last time I saw it, for 4 tickets it was $12,000 or something. You get a parking pass for the parkade close to the Avision/Young or Chrysler Club (whatever they call it), option to have the buffet dinner there (at $40 a plate) and first right of refusal for any event tickets at the Saddledome in your seats.

There is also food and beverage service to your seats during Flames games, but it's not free. I believe for some seats, you also get free Calgary Hitmen seasons tickets to the same seats.

Last year, people who were on the hothouse were immediately offered season tickets in the Press Level IIRC. Lower bowl and second bowl will be a longer wait.

As a very long time STH, I'm somewhat disappointed that in the press level, the first three rows (which were the only rows when I first bought them) don't get free food with our seats, but row 4 does.

Not sure you are missing out on much considering the options at the Press Level. Probably better off missing out on that free lunch.

I got offered top of the 2nd level seats ( row 20 ish) 2 weeks after I signed up for hot house. The problem was they were in the corner just the aisle over from tickets that were significantly less money. I also wasn't prepared to shell out 6k for 2 seats so early in the game. Hoping they are still around and I'll snag them this year.

I'm surprised it only went up those amounts given the exchange rate. Then again, with things cratering here you probably want to keep increases down a bit.

They must be sending the renewal early to see if they can free up any seats before the new arena announcement.
