The ticker flashed a Transaction segment and it said Flames. Being I just woke up from night shift I was expecting Glencross, then seen it was Bennett. Only a matter of time I suppose. Pretty excited to see how this season unfolds.

Ducks nearly score TWICE shorthanded. One Duck gets a breakaway but nothing. Then a giveaway near Scrivens and Smith-Pelly has a wide open net but puts it high and wide.

Oilers are some kind of awful. Anaheim not only possessed the puck more than the oilers on their own PP, but they got the shots and two quality scoring chances. The oilers literally never had the puck in Anaheim's zone

How anyone can think that team is changing under Nelson is delusional. Are they slightly better? Yes. Are they still the same crap but this time it's just lipstick on a pig? Yes.

The only thing that has improved is special teams. That's it. Stats show it's the same team 5v5
