QOTD: Should the Flames move Glencross what will be their return?
A lot of debate on Glencross and his merits ... so a simple poll question looking at return.

hopefully there is a bidding war and he gets more than anticipated. I could see them possibly getting a first rounder or an A level prospect. If there isn't a bidding war, I'd say the safe bet is a second rounder.

I think we will get a A level prospect, and maybe low draft pick (5 round).

I went with 2nd round pick. I could see a "meh" prospect on the level of a Cundari/Hanowski also thrown in, but I could care less about that.

I'm hoping the Flames take back a bad contract in the deal to improve the return.
Like Viktor Stalberg from the Preds for instance.
If not, probably just a 2nd rounder.

I'd be happy with a 2nd/3rd and a B level prospect. However it would not surprise me if there was a bidding was going on and he gets a 1st rounder. I'm not in the loop when it comes to trade rumours, but I'd have to think that Glencross will be one of the most sought after forwards.
Basically we are due for a home-run deadline trade and Glencross hopefully is that guy. Either way, I trust management to get the best return possible.

I voted for what I hope which is a larger deal but if not I think a 2nd will be the return

I'm thinking a 3rd rounder or a project type of prospect.

I think the Ducks might give up the 30th pick overall as they might feel that they are going to win the cup.
Kesler -Perry and Getzlaff will all be 30+ next year so this might be their window.

The other thing I would like is something similar to the Nino-Cal trade, where the Flames give up their own 2nd, in order to get a true top prospect.
Glencross isn't going to get you a top prospect, but maybe if you add a second you can value up.

How much less could you care?

Hyper specific, but I went with a second and a third. Second and something less substantive.

I'm hoping for a bigger deal. We throw in one of our many C or LW prospects and get back an A level D or RW prospect. Or instead of us adding, we take back a bad contract to get the same.

Hopefully a 1st, but I'd be fine with another year of 3 picks in the top 60 (61 this year).

I think management has decided what his value is to the team, and if someone doesn't match that price he stays. So I'll go with either a 2nd round pick plus a small add-on, or he's a Flame 'till the end of the season.

I think the return is going to have to be "better than a 2nd". Glencross will help us in our own playoff push, so if the offer is a 2nd or less then I think the decision will be to keep him.
If the offer is coming from a division rival then the price goes up. Also, any team from Chicago has to pay more imo.
