Backlund's giveaway on the 4-2 goal was terrible, but I give the goat to Hiller. That 3rd goal is just unnecessary, and he can't corral the puck while Palmieri pokes it in on the 4-2 goal.

Johnny had another tough night. At the very least it looks like its time to scale back the ice time a bit. The Flames need someone to consistently step up though.

I thought the Ducks size really took over the game in the third. They play a tough brand of hockey that should allow them to go far in the playoffs.

Frankly, before the third as I saw it. It felt like the Ducks were physically taking advantage of us, and targeting Johnny all game. Especially in the first, it felt very chippy to me, and it's the first game all year that I've missed McGrattan. By the time the third rolled around, I didn't care much about winning or losing, I just wanted some Ducks to lose some teeth, which I again haven't felt all year.

I think we will continue to see more and more physicality down the stretch - especially if it proves to be effective against the Flames.

If so, wouldn't be surprised to see McGrattan called back up

I liked Jones' big hit but that was about the only positive.
