It is a great game on Long Island as the Bruins lead 3-2 after two periods. It is wide open offensive hockey as there have been 58 shots with the Islanders leading 31-27 in that category.

It is scoreless after two periods at MSG with the Habs and Rangers and not as exciting.

The Bruins and Flyers are now both up 4-2 in their respective games midway through the third period.

Less than three minutes in and the "We are not tanking" Oilers are already down 1-0. Ha. Ha. Stupid Oilers.

The Oilers clearly not tanking, they are simply not good.

Once the Flames got the second goal, the Sabres caved. The Oilers might win this one.

Remenda: "Oilers getting off to a slow start in the second period."

On screen graphic: Shots in the second are 6-1 for the Oilers.

The Predators get another point as they tied it up late in the third period and lose in the shootout to the Blues. Hutton has been playing well with Rinne injured. Fisher had three points including a shorthanded goal.

Highlight of the night is Ekman-Larsson's shorthanded goal, just five seconds into the third period to tie the game 1-1 against the Leafs. Ray Ferraro was talking about how well Bernier was playing and then the shot from the Coyotes own blue line eludes Bernier. The Leafs crumbled after that and lost 3-1. Check it out on NHL.com.

The Sharks lead 3-1 now in the second period and they continue to pour it on even after a goalie change, 5-1 Sharks.
