Leafs for sure. Canada would never hear the end of how great McDavid is if he went to the Leafs.

Hockey coverage in this country is insufferable as it is.
Leafs can be the most irrelevant team in hockey (and they sort of are) but you're still going to know every player on that roster by virtue of the national media's agenda. I don't even want to fathom how bad it would get if that market got the next Crosby.

Help, save, whatever.

I don't think Arizona deserves McDavid. His talent would be wasted there. No one would even care he was drafted.

This might sound crazy but oilers are my choice. It would be great to have the next Crosby in our division. Even though its the oilers. It might spark the battle of Alberta again. As much fun it is seeing the oilers being so dysfunctional, I would like to see great hockey games even more.

Carolina. Like to see him go somewhere that has a spot light/ bigger, more covered markets.
Buffalo, Colorado, Columbus, Philly. All would be good

Voted leafs because i couldn't stand how much hype there would be although i do feel bad for the one leaf fan i actually know. He was getting so down on the leafs he was talking about buying a Flames hat! Colorado is a close second followed by Dallas those teams would be nightmares to play even without a competent d.

Arizona. He might be the only thing that can keep the team from moving to better market.

Would probably to see him go to the Devils too, as they've got a hell of a young D-core and a good goaltender to start their rebuild around. Wouldn't want to meet such a team in the Final.

I don't even know if I can pick another team. Whichever team he goes to will get a boost in just about every area, from on ice-product to marketing. The only true answer is the Oilers. Maybe Philly too, since I hate how they always seem to be one of those teams that can get out of cap hell after signing stupid long-term contracts.

The bottom 6 teams are pretty much solidified, and that accounts for 70.5% of the odds. Columbus, Carolina, Toronto, Arizona, Edmonton, Buffalo.
Out of these teams, I would only want to see Columbus or Carolina, preferably Columbus.
Sadly, the Oilers are most certainly getting one of McDavid, Eichel, Hanifin.

Easy just like the last poll. I'm sick and tired of listening about the Kadri pressbox thing and this is in Calgary for crying out loud. Nazem Kadri is a good player and all but he's a 2nd line player and we have heard more about him since being drafted than John Tavares for crying out loud. Just imagine if the Leafs got McDavid what that would mean for fans of other Canadian teams. Bennett, Monahan, and Gadreau could all eclipse him in points and it would be like they never existed as far as all the Canadian networks are concerned because what Connor McDavid ate for lunch would be bigger news. They immortalized Mats Sundin for crying out loud and while he had a nice career he was still Mats Sundin not Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, or Sidney Crosby.
