Default Darryl Sutter - In My Own Words

edit: Oops posted the wrong video. The video I meant to post is on Darryl and his son Chris. Thought it was the same as the Fox video on Darryl. Anyways here's the segment on Chris, great watch and can see how much he means to the Kings.

I was going to make some comment about his time with the Flames, but it's irelevent. Darryl is a hell of a man!

Chris used to go to school with my kid - at least, he was in the next door classroom, since he wasn't going to be doing all the same work. Darryl never hung around the school so I couldn't bend his ear.

Awesome. Thanks so much for posting that. I've been privy to a few of Chris' pep talks and they are fantastic. He's a great kid!

i remember after Darryl was let go by the Flames, Chris wanted to see the team. Darryl purchased a couple of tickets and him and Chris sat amongst the faithful! I thought it was the most amazing thing!
How hard it must have been for Darryl to come back to the Saddledome but how irrelevant that feeling must have been when your son wants to see his heros!
IIRC, I believe the cameras caught it and Darryl got a standing O.

Nice video, have a 3 week old niece with downs.

I'll pass that on to my sister.

Thanks for posting this OP, I can relate to this as 2.5 years ago when my first (and only) child was born with downs. The obstacles he has and continues to over come simply amazes me. Great post OP
