That is the number of watchdog warnings I found when I opened up the email this morning. That is in a 5 day span. Not really good enough. The league understands that everyone is busy and that trades and injuries can play havoc on your roster. However there are teams that were non compliant for up to 6-7 days straight. Anything more than 2 straight warnings is unacceptable and fines will start coming out fast and furious from here on out.

750k in fines were dished out this morning. More will come this weekend if the teams in question and other teams who are on the verge do not fix things.

Moving forward if you are having roster issues and making the needed moves to fix these please let us know. If you have a trade completed to fix things or a signing submitted let us know. We encourage activity, however we are not going to give teams a week leeway to get things figured out. Fairness is a huge part of this league and it is not fair to other teams for teams to not comply with roster issues. I really hope this is the last league wide warning that has to be issued this season.

End of Rant...

Thanks Goffie.

It would also be nice to have GM's get back to you on trade proposals...even it if is a NO.

I have 2 outstanding trade offers with GM's that have been sitting up in the air for a few weeks now.

Obviously it's safe to assume they are not going to happen...but out of respect for the other guy at least respond and say not interested.

Good point. Responding to PM's is another important part of activity. It is hard for GM's to be active if only half the league responds to PM's. Like Simmer said a simple "No thanks" will do.

I think one of those is my bad... you sent me a PM on the day I went to the farm for the holidays and forgot to reply when I actually had internet access.

How about offenders suffer point penalties in the standings? I could use all the help I can get clawing my way up.

Tampa offers Jose Theodore a 1 year deal at league minimum for 500K. 10% AHL to become roster compliant on the farm.

I am guessing because if you want to sign him to a 1 year contract, he must make 1 million.

In both situations the players are signed outside of the bid system according to the following options:*

· 1 year: $1 million / season
· 2 year: $875 000 / season
· 3 year: $750 000 / season
· In all cases the AHL contract is set at 10%*

I rarely sign players midseason saw $500K in the Rules. I am curious why I would not have gotten a courtesy email clarifying that rather than silence. I truly feel that I was not procrastinating at all in becoming roster compliant.

Sorry about mine guys, I resolved one of the issues and thought that was all of them, but forgot about my ECHL limit.

Trade has been done to rectify that.

Thought I had addressed my watchdog problems, but obviously I hadn't. Should be fixed now (I hope!)
