Default Unmasked: Flames goalie coach perseveres with MS

A nice write up about Jordan Sigalet on NHL.com and the challenges he faces with MS.

He sounds like a great role model for our young goalies. In a position that is largely mental as well as physical, he sounds like a great inspiration in that he refused to use that hurdle as an excuse for retiring early.

I had no idea about his condition. He's done a great job with our goalies and hopefully he can stick around the team for years to come.

Sigalet is a HUGE reason for the change in Ortio last season. I believe there's a few interviews where Ortio speaks very highly of him and credits him for a ton of his improvement and adjustment.

Heck, he even said the same thing about getting him ready for the Vancouver game with all that was thrown at him travel wise.

Sigalet's awesome. Great guy, great sense of humour. In the off season he runs a youth goalie school out of Langley. Definitely a role model for our goalies.
