I know there are a few pilots on here, as well as weather affectionados.... Where do you find has the most reliable wind forecasts for YYC and YBW?

No such thing as a reliable wind forecast from the Nav Canada folks!

I use the Local Area Data page to pull the TAF's and METAR's for the airport in question:

You can select a box to get them in plain language if you don't know how to read them.

I was looking for a week out, and then current day/48 hr forecasts, more specifically.

The page I gave you is good for current day/24 hr or so. That would be the TAF (Terminal Area Forecast).

I use Windfinder, its a site for the sailing/wind surfing community.

Far from perfect but gives you trends you can actually look at. and where to expect windy or calm days, weather to expect wind early or late in the day.................
