Default [CGY/FLA] Drew Shore for Corban Knight

Per flames twitter. Shore is a year younger than Knight and was a 2nd round draft pick in '09. Elliott Friedman posted on Twitter saying he thinks he has potential. I like it.

Has 30 points in 35 games in the AHL, he's 6'3" and 205 pounds, and is a former 2nd round pick from the 2009 draft.

Played 43 NHL games in 2012-13, 24 NHL games in 2013-14, and none this season.

Drew Shore is a good player. Nice trade for both. Not sure Knight will ever be a full time NHLer, but strangely enough these are similar players. I think Shore has a little bit better hockey IQ.

Shore is two games from needing waivers; no room behind Barkov/Bjugstad in FLA. He's got potential.

I don't really know Drew Shore or what he can offer, but I thought Knight was getting quickly lost in the depth of Flames prospects. He seemed to show some promise when he first got here, but he never seemed to really take advantage of his time with the big club.

Poor Knight, leaves the organization only to get dragged back. Though I guess Shore was one of the centres ahead of him in the depth chart at least?
