I was just going to post this as TSN sent me a notification lol, this was pretty much out of nowhere wasn't it? It wasn't like the Leafs were on a bad slide either.

Odd timing. No doubt he was going to be fired in the offseason barring a long playoff run but what interim coach is going to make the team play unquestionably better?

Oh wow I didn't even know that haha thanks. I still think Burke kinda screwed them over with the Kessel trade but that's just my opinion.

Dan Bylsma
Randy Carlyle
Paul MacLean
Pete DeBoer
John Tortorella (lol)
Watch, they'll probably make Todd Nelson the permanent head coach.

I know it's only a small handful of games and the jury is still out but they have played a lot better under Nelson. If they play a lot better in the 2nd half of the season I don't see why you wouldn't keep him as the full time head coach.
